Really great value for money! The female bathroom provided basically all the toiletries you might need and had multiple showers and basins so you didn't have to wait for anyone. The room quite private because of the way the room was divided by walls and the bed felt very cosy because they provided a heat adjustable futon. The room also had a window. Located in the picturesque area of Kurashiki.

Located in Tamano, 24 km from Sogenji Temple, Kikusui Ryokan provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden.

Perfect place for a day trip to Naoshima, in easy walking distance to the port and to the train station. There is no staff at the property, so we made sure we had all the check in codes they send us beforehand. There is a tablet when you get through the main door where you need to check in, you can pick English and then it is quite easy, scanning passport and taking a photo. The room we had was very nice, we also got a key to a private toilet in the corridor and a private key to a bathroom downstairs. Check out again on the tablet and the keys need to be deposited in the letterbox outside.

Hibari House Guest house is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes.

Very comfortable beds and really clean place. Not sure why this place is so low rated as the quality and cleanliness of the facilities are above standard.

Only 500 metres from JR Okayama Station’s west exit, Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s features a café with a live stage for DJs and other artists.

don’t miss the welcome drink and they also have a craft beer made for them on the menu (not a free option) that was quite good.

Room was clean, pretty and has a super nice view! Even though I was traveling solo, I felt comfortable as the staff were friendly and took care of me well. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel.
