Very good hostel - modern and super comfy. Excellent location, very close to everything important. There is everything you need - lockers, kitchen, free cosmetics kit, washing machine. And shop with Kaspi point at the bottom floor of the building.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable Stay at Koksay Hotel – Great Value We had a very pleasant stay at Koksay Hotel in Almaty. The hotel is located a bit outside the busy city center, which makes it peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Even though it’s not in the middle of the city, getting around is very easy with Yandex taxi, which is fast and affordable in Almaty. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for a good stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Everything was well-maintained, showing the hotel’s commitment to quality and guest comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and cared for during our time here. While the hotel does not serve breakfast, there are small shops and cafes nearby, and with Yandex rides being so convenient, finding great food in the city was never a problem. Overall, Koksay Hotel offers great value for money — clean rooms, friendly service, and a peaceful location with easy transport access. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return when visiting Almaty again.

Stayed from Oct 9-15, both in a shared and single room. The guy in the reception is so polite and genuinely nice . Of course, not an English speaking country but he did his best to communicate and assist me - Thanks bro. Very clean! Beds are comfortable. House keeping are very active to maintain the hostel tidy and spotless. Washing. Dryer. Flat iron. Kitchen and dining area. Microwave. Fridge. Work space. Complimentary teas and drinking water. There's a 24/7 convenience store and ATM just within the building complex (3 mins walk). A cafe and a restaurant nearby (5 mins walk). Just beside a lake/park, you could relax there in the morning or sunset. < 20 mins walk to nearest metro Sairan. Place is easily accesible by Yandex Taxi/car. Close to bus station to Bishkek, Kyrgystan. Don't expect this to be a social/party hostel for tourist, it's a quiet and very organized hostel. Convenient and comfortble.

    Very easy going and budget-friendly. We came back to the same hostel after a 2-day trip to Charyn canyon and Kolsay lakes. Some other travellers we met in the trip stayed also at the same hostel. So all in all it was nice for the atmosphere and the people for good talking and sharing experiences and traveling tips.
