The owners are a really nice friendly family, who will make you feel at home since the first day. Rooms are big, with comfortable beds, provided by mosquito net and fan. The breakfast that they prepare is delicious, and changes every day. The place is surrounded by jungle, so you will have a peaceful staying, but at a walking distance from the beach, where you can see turtles by the way. I stayed for 2 nights but I would have liked to stay for way more. I’ll definitely stay again.

A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.

The location is great, literally get off at Katugoda station and walk less than 5 mins. Short tuk tuk to Unawatuna or Galle so would be a great base to explore either. Shop, pharmacy, food - is all close walking distance. The owner is very responsive on whatsap and will answer any queries. The one member of staff I’ve met is great. I really enjoyed my stay. I needed some time to rest after travelling for a while and it was the perfect quiet and peaceful place to do so. The place is super clean. The bed is comfy. The kitchen is great and stocked well with utensils, pans etc. You can use the washing machine. Overall, I am really happy with my stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Nice hostel for the price with good pancakes & fruits for breakfast. Individual fan right on the top of each bed ! 👌🏼 The staff was lovely and helpful !

I had a wonderful stay at Snooze Station. The location next to bus station is great. Its just a short walk to fort Galle. The rooms are clean and specious. The staff was most welcoming friendly and helpful. The owner even explained me everything about the story and long history about this hostel/building. Highly recomment.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, everything was AMAZING. This family is just so lovely, so sweet, and they are offering absolutely everything you need. The rooms are really nice, the bathroom is big and everything is super clean. Sincerely, you must stay there, and just enjoy. I highly recommend getting some food as well, that was delicious! I tried to help them and that was a perfect sharing moment. I will come back one day 🫶🏼

Amazing place, with a huge garden. The owner will guide you through the different spices and fruits that are in this garden. Also, he is happy to help you with suggestions about sightseeing and transport! Come here if you like calm, but still enjoy a nice conversation at the end of your day. Amazing Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners! Among the best I have ever eaten in my trip :)
