Value-for-money is amazing; unit may be tiny, but you basically get a private room with queen bed for a price of a single-person bed in a dorm. The place is in really good shape (well kept, squeaky clean, insulated), bathrooms are spacious (and there are enough stalls to never have to wait) and feel almost luxurious (marble floors, good quality products, small single-use cotton towels for hand-drying), the bed and pillows were super comfy, and the ventilation worked surprisingly well - the air was neither hot and stuffy, nor aggressively cold and sneeze-inducing like is often the case with AC. I really appreciated being able to customize the light in the room, and the complimentary water bottles and tote bag.

I enjoyed my stay at Ecomama. The location of this hostel was effortless to navigate and offered excellent access to many hubs for museums, restaurants, public transportation, shopping, and so much more. I was a solo female traveller and felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I booked an all-female room. My roommates were friendly and easygoing. We even went out on my last night. The common areas and kitchen were free-to-use by all the guests. I was able to cook and enjoy the spaces without any worry. I didn't have too much interaction with the staff, but they were great and kind throughout my whole stay. All the photos online are exact depictions of how the hostel is decorated and oriented. I truly recommend Ecomama.
