Tristan and Yoko, the hosts, are super friendly and always up for a quick chat. Tristan was also very helpful with recommending good hikes in the area. The wood burner made it warm and cozy in the evenings. Every bed in my dorm had a bedside table with a lamp and there were plenty power outlets. The kitchen is well equipped and was always kept clean. The complimentary massage chair is a unique feature. Definitely recommend staying here!

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

A charming Swiss chalet-like hostel full of character, warmth, and nice touches for guests. Tristan is a natural at hospitality, with an innate sense of guest need. Warm, cosy rooms, a log fire, comfy beds and armchairs, a well equipped kitchen, a place radiating backpacker hospitality at its best. Highly recommended. Will remember it well.
