This is easily my most favourite hostel in all of New Zealand. Staff were incredibly friendly. The pods were comfortable and very spacious. Rooms were laid out in a way that it was also spacious. Location is great, I cant believe the value for money staying here!

And the award for the worst hostel in NZ goes to... well, definitely not to this one! Hands down the best hostel I ever stayed at, and I have been to many. Due to some recent bad experiences with hostels in NZ I was a bit hesitant to stay in another one, but I am so glad I booked. The place is freshly renovated, big rooms with storage under the bed and a locker (just bring your own padlocks), blackout curtains on the bed and window... Bathrooms are super clean (and with a hairdryer), and I can only wish my kitchen at home was as cool as this one. Before Rotorua, I stayed in their sister hostel in Taupo and it was equally amazing.
