It was in a super convenient location in the centre of Dumaguete, right opposite Victory Park. This allowed for easy access to both ports, and the Central Markets. All of the staff were incredibly kind, and the balcony, offering stunning views of the surrounding area with free drinking water and coffee was a bonus.

Decor is artsy and unique - we loved it! Staff friendly and helpful 👌 Water provided to refill containers. Cafe restaurant attached to hostel is a bit rich for us, but very very nice! Cinnamon rolls from attached bakery 10/10!! Location is a bit distant from sights but very close to airport- tricycle is easy 150php

The apartment is family friendly. It's great that they've provided bunk beds in the other room to accomodate more family members. The wifi connection is fast. The caretaker is friendly and prompt in responding to our needs.

Charming local style resort made of bamboo, facing the sea. There is a SSI dive center with very professional staff. The restaurant serve very good food. The owner and staff are at your attention and friendly, they make you feel like home. There is a nice reef right in front of the Resort, ideal for a swim or snorkeling. Perfect place to spend your holliday in a nice atmosphere

Sharky Hostel is perfect for the whale shark experience. It is a basic hostel, you stay in a little hut right beside the beach. The bed was very comfy and we had a mosquito net, plugs to charge our phones and a fan! The hosts were so helpful - they made sure we were the first in the queue for the whale sharks (3.15 am wake up call!) - this was great because it meant we got on the first boat and we were finished by 6 am (and avoided the exceptionally long queues in the heat - and these were the queues in low season!). The hosts were also great for showing us where to rent motos and how to move on to our next destination. Would highly recommend this hostel to stay in if you want to swim with whale sharks and continue on your journey the next day.

basic room but great value for money. nice quirky 1 night stay for the whale sharks. whale shark place is a 1 minute walk away from the hostel. Ken who works at the Hostel is so good. so friendly and so happy to help you get to and from places.

I had a great stay at Fable Hostel in Siquijor. The atmosphere is super friendly, social, and perfect for meeting other travelers. I had an incredible time at Love Shack Hostel! The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
