The hostel is newly renovated, it’s very clean and comfortable. I didn’t even expect to have the kitchen there, especially with all the necessary cookware and fridges. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. We’ve had some small issues with the keys but they happily figured everything out!

Staff were super nice and the hostel is like a converted apartment. The female dorms are in a seperate apartment from the other dorms, so it felt really safe. Really well done, right on the strip, with air-conditioning, regular cleaning, the beds were a really good size and had curtains and the lockers were really spacious as well.

Pousada de Juventude de Portimao features a green garden area and games room with billiards. The unit is 2.5 km from the Portimão centre and 6.5 km from Praia da Rocha.

This was my second stay - I first visited in 2023 and came back this year. The room and AC were excellent and very clean. We had a small issue with the AC that stopped working one night, but the staff resolved it quickly. The location is great, close to several good restaurants and Intermarché, and the pool is definitely a bonus. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend.

The Boutique Taghostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available.
