Overall it was a good stay for me. + Great location. The hostel is very close to Exit 1&3 of Dongmen Station (Orange Line MRT) and Ubike station which is super convenient for me. The local morning market which sells fresh fruits and good food is right across the street. Daan Park, Yongkang Street (famous for good eateries, restaurants, and trendy cafes though they tend to be somewhat pricey), and the 24-hour Carrefour supermarket are all within walking distance. + The bed is comfy, and the cubicle is spacious enough for an Asian girl like me. + The coffee shop on the ground floor is worth checking out. It serves good coffee at a reasonable price, and a big plus is that it opens early in the morning (Many cafés in Taipei close till noon).

Clean and cozy place , nice staff :) This hostel is very comfortable. That nearby taipei main station , minimart and foodshop. The best thing is dressing table , have a cleansing water (bioderma) and moisturizing cream (cerave)

Great location. The facilities were great! The staff were very friendly!! Great value for money! If I ever travel to Taipei again I will definitely stay here again! My first hostel experience (I have since stayed at another in Seoul) and it was amazing! Comparing to another hostel I much prefer this place, much for friendly and just has a ‘better space’ to be in as well. I loved the ‘pods’ we stayed in, there were 10 beds in a room but they had a sense of privacy to them which was great! Thank you to the helpful staff to a Kiwi who speaks little to no Chinese!

I stayed a total of 5 days at this place. The first 2 nights were exceptional that I decided to book again for 3 nights. Clean and exceptionally well maintained and provided all the common amenities from soap, unlimited coffee, bread, crackers, etc. it’s close to the Peace Park, Ximending night market, the Chiang Khai Shek Palace, and the metro station.

Flip Flop Hostel - Garden is set in Datong District in Taipei, 200 metres from Taipei Bus Station and 500 metres from Taipei Film House.

Great hostel. Excellent location. Cool design. We really liked our room which, although small, felt airy and comfortable. Staff were super friendly. The free breakfast was a great touch - we're often disheartened when hostels offer free breakfast and it turns out to just be some cornflakes but here we got really lovely and filling sandwiches from the cafe downstairs!

Centrally positioned in Zhongzheng district, Sunny Hostel is set right next to the beautiful 228 Park and offers cosy accommodation and heartfelt services.

-Loved almost everything! Location and amenities for a hostel are good! It's literally a walk in the park going to the nearest metro station. The hostel is located west side of the peace park and you just need to cross this park to get to the NTUH metro station (1 station away from Taipei Main Station), very convenient. 711 and Family Mart just a few meters away from the entrance. -Staff was very friendly and helpful -Free use of umbrellas was a plus plus! -Free water, tea, coffee and snacks at the common kitchen/dining hall also a plus plus! -Cheaply priced but worth it -At the time of booking and stay, this hostel had a score of 9.4 -Highly recommended for groups. We were 8 guests and we booked 2x quadruple rooms.
