Hostels in Matemwe

Very nice hostel, very clean, friendly staff, rich breakfast and fair price. The first time I lived in a hostel with air conditioning, electric fans and hairdryer in Africa. Recommended!

Stayed for 6 nights, great resort like vibe, nice pool and restaurant area, amazing staff. Met some other great travellers at the hostel too.

Great place, very nice garden. Staff very helpful and attentive. Perfect place to meet backpackers. Toilet and ac inside dormitory, curtains for every bed so you can sleep in private. It was very clean and well maintained Thanks for everything Greens team! Will definitely be back

I had a great stay at Rafiki. Is quiet far from town but it was the best choice for me, to avoid touristic places. 10 mins walking from the hostel, you can fine the most beautiful and isolated beach. The hostel itself is was amazing. I was staying in a private room with private bathroom. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Great to have a fan for hot days. Its similar to a bungalow so its normal to find geckos in room or flies. The staff was amazing and girls prepared a rich breakfast (included). Being far from town, you can call a driver or you can wait till 6/7 pm and go there with owner Rafiki (for free) and I think that is really a nice service to offer. Suggestion: for lunch, you can buy anything and put it in the fridge in kitchen
