Really great location, staff were superb! They helped us with so much, giving us some tips and recommendations, estimations of what things should cost (both shopping and excursions). They also set us up with a driver with really good prices to go to the other parts of the island. Room was clean and had everything we wanted and needed.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hostel! I booked it late the night before and I asked if I could drop off my bags early morning. I had not received a reply when I arrived but I was welcomed warmly and told that I could check into my room early too. I ended up with the whole dorm room (and possibly the hostel) to myself. The room, bedding and bathroom were all clean and room was spacious. And there is hot water! Not that you need it in Zanzibar. The host was absolutely lovely and told me to let him know if he could do anything to make the stay better. It was close to a fantastic Ethiopian restaurant, an atm and loads of touristy shops. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Toast, eggs, fruit, delicious juice. This was simply a great place to stay!

The view from the roof is truly magical. It's on part with much more expensive places. The rooms and facilities are everything promised. Overall a great value!
