Amazing hostel! Our private room was so spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the convenience of booking tours and transportation right through them was great! The nightly activities (ahem...free unlimited beer happy hour) created unreal social vibes. Will definitely be back!

The room was very comfortable, the position central, and the breakfast also nice. Toby at the reception desk has been of great help. His English is very good (definitely added value) and he helped us with precious advice during our stay. He even personally helped us not to miss our bus to Hanoi . Thanks Toby

Everything worked well, it was clean, we booked a tour and it was easy, we got help on where to go in the national park, the Banh Mi for breakfast was good. It was New Year’s Eve and the night was really good, DJ was amazing.

I only stayed one night at The One Hostel in Cat ba, but I wish I could have stayed longer! This place is truly special—an amazing atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, and so many activities to enjoy. From yoga sessions and evening quizzes to getaway dinners, billiards, and endless games, there’s never a dull moment. One of the best things about this hostel is how easy it is to book trips, buses, and activities right at the front desk—all at reasonable prices and with incredibly helpful staff who make everything smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast was great, and the overall vibe of the place is just perfect for meeting like-minded travelers. It’s so easy to connect with people here, and that makes the experience even better. If you’re ever in Cat ba, don’t miss the chance to stay at The One Hostel! I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

The hostel is in front of the beach and close to the center of the island where is everything. The bed is confortable and enough space for your luggage, they give you a key for your locker. In general, nice experience, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The building is a bit out of the crowd with a nice view . Unfortunately the construction is still going on both sides but from the Pont you can have a fascinating view. The room was comfortable, i slept quite well, had a locker below the bed, and the showers were outside. Breakfast was a buffet that had delicious food.

Beautiful spot way out in nature far from all the other places to stay on the island. Had a wonderful time here catching up with some friends I knew were here ~ if you're alone & there's no-one around it might seem a bit isolated but if you want the nature tip & especially if you know there are people here then it's perfect! Nice pool too, & the place is well equipped as a music venue if there's anything actually going on (not always..!)
