Very nice place to stay in Shkoder. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they booked tickets to Valbone for us and took us on an afternoon trip to a canyon nearby.

Lots of space between the two floors (access to second floor kitchen, living room and bathroom area is through outside stairs). Bright. Julie and Lulzym are friendly, helpful, excellent hosts. Breakfasts were excellent. Changes daily. Food from menu to purchase for other meals were excellent as well. Booked a tour of Shala River through them, which was amazing!

During my stay at Golden Sleep Hostel, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the guests (Ahmeti), who repeatedly smoked inside the dorm room despite being told not to. The smell of smoke made it very uncomfortable for me and the others in the room. To be fair, the hostel staff clearly informed him of the no-smoking policy and warned him multiple times. I really appreciated how the staff handled the situation — their effort to enforce the rules and ensure our safety was at the highest level. I believe this issue needs even stricter enforcement to avoid similar cases in the future. Other than that, the hostel was well located and the staff were kind and professional.

The Galley Party Hostel asub Shkodëris ning pakub ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutust koos aia, ühise puhkeruumi ja baariga. Everything was amazing, I have been to shkoder before, but this stay at Galley completely blew me away. The staff were so amazing, really truly understand hospitality and bringing people together, they provide such an incredible social space with the garden, and encourage a friendly space where you can meet everyone in house. They take care of everything you need for your stay, airport transfer, hiking tours, river day trips, winery visits, advice on where to buy things you need. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. I will be back!
