The property is around 300 metres from Surfers Paradise Beach, less than 1 km from SkyPoint Observation Deck and 4 km from Marina Mirage Shopping Centre. The accommodation offers entertainment staff and a shared kitchen. The rules: quite at 21.00 and light closing. Ladies toilets and showers were very clean. Beach and shops at walking distance.

The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Both breakfast and dinner was included, and both were of very nice quality, especially when you consider the price. For breakfast there always were pancakes available (including other stuff). For dinner, we had curries, pastas, burritos and always you had the option to choose vegetarian or with meat. The personnel was very friendly too.

Maxmee Backpackers Resort has won the TripAdvisor Award for Excellence for both 2014 and 2015. Guests have a choice between dormitory rooms and self-contained 2-bedroom apartments. Great place! Was only there for a couple of nights. Great location close to the bars, beach and restaurants. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend :)
