Landing Pads really stood by its name as it was my go-to hostel and helped me to settle into life in Melbourne. I first stayed here when I first moved to Melbourne (back during Guilly's time, the GOAT), extending for a month, and then in-between share houses. The people and volunteers are lovely, and it's definitely sociable enough for you to either be an extrovert drinking in the garden or an introvert (me) watching the telly in the living room together. Plenty of social events and the weekly family dinner, so you'll never go bored! Also it's right by Sydney Road - so many great places and shops around. I met so many people who only intended to stay for a while ending up staying for a long time, shows how special the hostel is to them

Situated just one street away from the Great Ocean Road, this environmentally-friendly hostel features a rooftop terrace, 2 self-catering communal kitchens, BBQ facilities and an organic herb garden. It is already second YHA accommodation in Australia that makes me happy. All things are here logical, functional, pleasant and nice at the same time. The staff makes you feel like you are in a very good movie where you are the main character.

Space Hotel features a rooftop terrace, fully equipped fitness centre and a private cinema room. Some rooms have a private bathroom, and flat-screen TV. Non ci sta davvero nulla da dire, ho girato diversi ostelli nel mondo e posso confermare che è di gran lunga il migliore dove io sia mai stato. Dallo staff ai mille servizi che manco alcuni hotel riescono a garantire. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è assurdo per ciò che offre e per la vicinanza al centro (soli 7/8 minuti a piedi). Il punto forte è il rooftop all'ultimo piano con vista sui grattacieli. Davvero un'esperienza fantastica.
