I first stayed here when I first moved to Melbourne (back during Guilly's time, the GOAT), extending for a month, and then in-between share houses. The people and volunteers are lovely, and it's definitely sociable enough for you to either be an extrovert drinking in the garden or an introvert (me) watching the telly in the living room together. Plenty of social events and the weekly family dinner, so you'll never go bored! Also it's right by Sydney Road - so many great places and shops around. I met so many people who only intended to stay for a while ending up staying for a long time, shows how special the hostel is to them

Located in the heart of St Kilda, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, a range of restaurants and shops. Tram stops are located at the door step, so you can conveniently get to and from the CBD. Thank you to the Roamer St Kilda hostel and the entire team who work there. A special thanks to Marit and Anna. I was warmly welcomed, and I loved the many activities offered to socialize and meet new people. The hostel is in a perfect location, and I had a beautiful private room.
