He helped me figure out what to do, and spoke very good english as my portugese is terrible. I really appreciated him.

Also got nice accomodations with a towel and blanket. I enjoyed my stay so much, that I extended it to another night. I would highly recommend staying here to any backpacker looking for a fun time in a safe and secure environment.

The property is non-smoking and is situated less than 1 km from Sao Francisco de Paula Church. This is the nicest and the friendliest hostel on Earth! I loved this place!!! I stayed in a female dorm - it was awesome because there are no bunk beds! Mattress was super comfortable, room was spacious enough and it had this vibe of a mountain house (just a heads up there is a lot of stairs - first to the hostel, then to the dorm - not a problem just a remark for people with reduced mobility or ginormous suitcases). It seemed like a mixed dorm had a beautiful view over main square and from the kitchen there was a view over the town, all the churches and the mountains. But the most important thing were the people! This hostel has such a nice vibe you seriously just want to stay there forever! It has all the Rodney (owner) personality and the volunteers were the nicest people on Earth! It was also super clean, couldn’t be better located and seriously- It’s just perfect! Loved, LOVED this place ❤️❤️❤️
