Location is superb for people who value calmness and less touristy places like me. I stayed during the last week of January and it was the most silence I can find in my life. The silence is amazing, you can hear birds chirping, river flowing, wind howling and the bell from church makes the whole tiny town super interesting. I love it.

We are a family of 6 (my husband & me with our 3 young children aged 3.5 through 8, and with my mother). We stayed in the room with 6 bunk beds. The room surprisingly felt spacious and had everything we needed: small bed-side tables for charging our phones, a small dining table with chairs, etc. Beautiful view from our windows! The duvets looked small, but they surprisingly kept us very warm, too! They also gave us either free or discount tickets for Interlaken transportations, etc, which was a nice surprise. We would stay here again and would recommend this hostel to others!

The location of the hostel was just 4 stops away from the station/bus stop at the town. It would take less than 10 minutes to reach the town.The hostel was very clean beyond our expectations, There are buses playing every 8 minutes to the town and it was always so easy to take the bus, with just a minute walk to the bus stop. We had taken a double room with shared bathroom and we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. The receptionist was always very friendly and cheerful and always ready to answer all our queries.The Swiss chocolates kept for the customers was such a kind gesture.The shared kitchen had all the equipments and utensils required for cooking and a nice outdoor and indoor seating to eat food. Though we stayed just for one night we cooked our own food. The breakfast was plentiful and always refilled. Though there wasn't much crowd when we went, the whole ambience was very good and food was also good with plenty of options. Overall a good place to stay and we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. Thanks to all the staff at the reception and breakfast lounge for taking care of all our requirements and making our stay a very satisfying one.
