I normally do not leave reviews but this was an exceptional stay and I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff of the hostel based on my experience. The members of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful when I checked in. I notified them earlier of my early morning arrival and they responded that while check-in would be after lunch, they would have coffee and I could rest on the couch. They also said I could leave my stuff should I leave. When I arrived, they did have coffee and the lady at the reception checked if she could check me in earlier, and they did. I enjoyed the breakfast and it was very filling. The bed was very comfortable and they provide more blankets than you'll need. There was also a locker, with a lot of space to leave both of my backpacks. Even though I only stayed one night, they were kind enough to keep my luggage when I went to the southern part of the country. I really wanted to stay here when I got back from the south but there were no more available rooms/beds when I tried booking. If/When I come back, I definitely will book here again.

Hostal Sol y Luna - a 10 min del aeropuerto & Desayuno Incluido. The most welcoming corner of Santiago. The host is incredibly nice. The place is kept super clean and nice and comfortable. Provided heater and blankets in the room. He woke up super early to help me with my uber to the airport. Highly recommend this place. Also free fruit was provided, and breakfast is free, or you can choose to have your breakfast packed in a bag to takeaway if you’re leaving early. The design of the place is cool and quirky too.

We talked a lot and enjoyed hanging out together in the living room in front of the fire. He helped us navigate around El Cajón de Maipo and in general just had a very relaxed vibe to him.
