She was relaxed but kept things moving in a nice way on the 1st day when we had a very large group. Pua Vaenga is a bit out of town but they have all manner of vehicles to hire at very good rates. I would suggest you factor that into the equation if you choose to stay there. We stayed for 4 nights, brought food from Santiago for 3 days & thought we would treat ourselves to a meal out on the last night. Honestly, we would have been just as happy to have a simple meal there on the deck, it was so nice.

Carolina was very flexible with the check-in since I arrived a bit later due to the fact I got lost in Santiago. Also, she upgraded my room for free. I totally recommend it. I will definitely come back.

Just got back from the most wonderful stay at El Mirador in Valparaiso! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. Marisol, the owner, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel like family rather than just another tourist. My room was spotless and so peaceful - I slept like a baby every night! Quick tip though: the windows in my room faced the interior hallway rather than outside, so I kept mine open for some fresh air circulation (totally worth it). The highlight of my mornings was definitely enjoying breakfast on that gorgeous patio - sipping coffee while taking in those breathtaking views of Valpo's colorful hills and the ocean beyond. The bread and local fruits were absolutely delicious! I'm already planning my return trip. If you're heading to Valparaiso, do yourself a favor and book with Marisol at El Mirador. You won't regret it!
