Ron the owner and the staff are friendly, helpful and really want you to be as comfortable as possible. If you want to see wildlife , then this is the place to visit. The well signed trails are great some leading to waterfalls and to unbelievable views over breathtaking landscapes. The rooms are simple but effective in immersing you into nature.

Everything was so nice: from the pool to the kitchen. Also the staff is very nice and all the people staying here too, which brings an amazing vibe! I would definitely recommend it to someone else too!

Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. Comfy beds, hot shower, good air conditioning. Everyone was so friendly it was great vibes and Chelsea is an incredible host. Thank you!!!

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. At Surf Shack Room #1 each room is fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. Great place to stay, especially if on a budget as this was unbelievably cheap. There’s a very good kitchen and clean/comfortable common areas. Staff was super helpful. The hostel is a pretty short walk to everything you need (stores, restaurants, local attractions etc.) Also liked the hammocks and area to eat outside.

Dorms, private rooms with shared bathroom and family rooms at the Hostel have a balcony with ocean views. Breakfast was included, which is a plus in a hostel. The rooms were comfortable.
