Perfect location in the centre of Helsinki, a lot of sights can be reached on foot, the rest by public transport (many stops nearby). I loved the cozy atmosphere in the lounge / kitchen area - after a cold December Day outside I was able to snuggle into a wing chair with a warm blanket (from the hostel), a hot cup of tea and a book. The female-only dormitory was really spacious - there was even a sofa and a vanity in the room. The mattress and the bedding were super comfortable; each bed had a reading light, shelves and sockets. The under-bed storage had a very nice size (my open carry-on suitcase and personal item fit perfectly). There were more than enough toilets, but not too many bathrooms / showers (the one in the back after the kitchen was really nice). Everything was very clean and in very good condition.

Linnasmäki is located in a peaceful, forested area just 4 km from the city center of Turku, the railway station, and the main market square. The airport and harbor are about 7 km away. The reception desk lady (I may remember her name wrong, Susan) is super! Many hugs! The room was beautiful with sea view.
