I've traveled all over Europe and this is the best hostel I've stayed at. If you get along with females, you'll love this place. I booked one night and ended up staying two weeks. This hostel feels like home. If you want a taste of home (your Mom's house), I recommend you stay here. I'm a long-term traveler, and this place is so homey. People here love to relax, sleep in, cook, eat, share food, chat, and interact with everyone. You'll feel so relaxed and at home you won't want to leave. I'm departing to another country but I'm sad to go because I've had such a wonderful time. Although the hostel is located on a slight incline hill, the public transport is only 1 lari, and that lari is free to use for 1.5 hours (90 mins) on any bus or metro, and the buses come right to the hostel. You'll get stronger and get your workout on if you don't take a bus and choose to walk to the metro, which is 15-20 mins away. 3 lari = 1 us dollar, so public transport is cheap. Grocery stores are only 3 mins walk away, and there are many to choose from in the area. The hostel is in a quiet location, girls are respectful here, so you'll get a good night's rest. Cute local cats will greet you from the kitchen widow. They feed them daily, so you can snuggle a cat if you like cats. Beds are comfortable, the hostel is super clean, and they have great cookware to cook, with lot's of communal spices to choose from. You'll come as a guest and leave as family.

Cosy Koala Hostel se nachází na ideálním místě v centru města Tbilisi a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací, sdílený lounge, bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. In 24 years of hostels all over the world, these beds are in the Hall of Fame of beds. It was immediately obvious to me when I laid down. Moreover, the bedding was fantastic- the comforter, the pillow, the sheets- this was not basic bedding. This was far more like what I experience from a 4- or 5-star Marriott (with its trademark “heavenly” bedding). That is the most importantly thing to know- and why you should book. I was in a 4 bed, female dorm which was great to have a dorm with just 3 others. There were drawers under the bed and then you have a locker for more valuable things. I like locking my stuff up but the locker cube held a decent amount, more than I really needed to lock up. (No one is interested in stealing my smelly clothes or toothbrush ;) The kitchen was a galley kitchen- skinny and narrow but completely functional for cooking, 2 refrigerators and very clean. The living room had a few types of seating and while the kitchen and living room are not huge, they are bigger than other places I stayed in this trip and they worked. I found the bathroom- while small- to be very functional. Shower, use the squeegee to clean the floor, and move on with your day. The size was fine with me- it was clean and easy to use and I was in and out and on with my sightseeing for the day!

It is a beautiful and cozy place with calm, welcome and pleasant atmosphere in a very good location of Tbilisi. It was comfortable and felt like home, so I was glad to come back to have some rest and sleep after a long day. It was a best hostel I have ever been to in my trips and I really recommend to come here if you want to visit Tbilisi.
