HI - Massada Hostel

Featuring an outdoor pool and air conditioning, HI - Massada Hostel lies at the foot of the Massada plateau on the eastern edge of the Judaean Desert. It features en suite rooms and dormitories with free Wi-Fi. Location location location. Close to ein gedi and the dead sea. Close to Eilat as well as Jerusalem. About an hour and a half for each. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The pool was fun. Staff was great.

The beds are very comfortable, the locations is exceptional and the staff is very nice. Everything is great :)

Set in Ein Gedi, 1.9 km from Ein Gedi Beach, SPNI Ein Gedi Field School offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. Facilities include a sun terrace and free WiFi is accessible. We ordered a triple room, but as a couple, the receptionist offered to pick a double room which had a twin bed which was more comfortable than the bank beds in the other room. The room has an amazing view and a porch outside the room with a view to the dead sea. The room was close to the cafeteria and included half board (breakfast, lunch). The room was renovated and completely new, including a private bathroom, towels, hand soap, shower soap and linen. The room had a mini refrigerator. Beds were comfortable. Elctricity sockets near bed. The field school is close to all nature reserves of the dead sea like David and Arugot stream. The staff was very nice and kind. And during the day you can get to see lots of Ibex !

If you are looking for a well equipped ,budget and clean accommodation in a quiet area near the Dead Sea, look no more . The place is a short car ride from the beach, shopping area and restaurants. Eyal the manager provided terrific service starting the day before our trip to see if we needed anything beforehand and to make sure we understood how to get to the place. He made sure that we felt free to contact him on any issue.

It’s a great location and they have their beds by the sea. The complementary spa is great as well, I had a very good massage! You get towels and bathrobes to enjoy the sea/spa area. Breakfast was really great, so many options so for everyone something. The staff was very friendly to me and they went the extra mile, you can just notice that they didn’t all have a hospitality training so the place could benefit from that.

Great location right on the doorstep of the dead sea. The outside poor is really nice and the water temperature was perfect. Breakfast was really nice and great variety. The hotel lobby is nice and so is the outdoor pool area.

The Breakfast was very nice, We also took Buffet Lunch, it was very good. The Hostel is secure, nicely located and well maintained. Just note that its a Hostel and not a hotel, thus all the things are basic, nothing exceptional.

considering it is a youth hostel the price was pretty high…but this is anyway Israel. There is actually only one reason to sleep there and this is to visit Masada in the next morning. And for this purpose the hostel is definitely good enough. Dinner was actually really ok. Breakfast was not worth.
