The hotel was very nice, we were surprised by the absolute cleanliness, which meets European standards. The hotel manager was very helpful, he was able to advise interesting sites in and around the city, arrange transport, etc. We were very surprised by Srinagar, it is an exciting and quiet city. We met a few tourists from the West there as it has a reputation of being a risky place, which is not true at all. Nowhere have we found such friendly people. The city is much cleaner than other Indian cities, we felt completely safe and the old city's architecture is amazing. Recommend visiting, both the city and this hotel!

Whostels was very clean and cozy, and the staff were all very attentive and warm. The staff immediately assisted with whatever questions we had and were very friendly throughout our few days. The location is great. It is in a very accessible location to the gardens and Dal lake (walkable). For transit, I recommend sharing the street name and locality, rather the name of hostel with taxis and rickshaws for easiest access. We had no trouble reaching all of our desired locations in Srinagar, but it was nice to be off main roads in a quiet village area. The breakfast was also very good 🙏🏻

As a solo female traveler, I felt exceptionally safe and respected throughout my stay. The team’s thoughtful approach and attentiveness truly stood out—they provided utmost care and ensured I was always comfortable, which made my experience even more special. The property itself is well-maintained, cozy, and perfectly located to enjoy the serene beauty of Srinagar. Every detail, from the clean and welcoming rooms to the overall atmosphere, added to the charm of the stay. I highly recommend Moustache in Srinagar to anyone, especially solo travelers, seeking a warm, safe, and memorable experience. The food 🍽️sounds delicious and I am glad it made me feel at home. The river view from the houseboat sounds spectacular, sunset⛅ view from the deck is mesmerizing and I am very 😀happy that i enjoyed it.
