There's a budget restaurant right there. The spacious lounge area and garden adds to the experience. Kudos to Ashish (owner) for conceiving and knitting it all together. All in all, it's a pleasant experience worth revisiting.

Room was clean, beds and bedding super comfy with nice duvets, properly fitting good quality sheets and even electric heated blankets. Electric blow heater was welcome too. Shower surprisingly good, water hot and clean bathroom. Dinner in the first floor room with views towards Sonamarg and the mountains was delicious and ample - topped off with a very good Kashmiri tea. Location is excellent, right next to the river. I can't compare the property to other locations in Sonamarg but having seen the town I would stay at Mitra Hostel regardless of my budget.
