It's situated in a cozy area called Sarnath a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Varanasi's city center. I really had a good time here, was able to do Yoga every day on the huge terrace and really fell in love with the place. The owners made me feel like at home here and they're really helpful and generous with the guests coming here. It's the perfect place if you want to escape the loud, crowded and demanding city center. Also, the food you can order directly at the hostel is sooo delicious for a very good price. All in all, a wonderful experience here.

Siamo stati molto contenti di aver scelto questo posto visti gli standard che hanno in India. Camere pulite (soprattutto il bagno), l'ostello in generale è carino e ben organizzato. Moses, il proprietario, è molto simpatico ed esaustivo. Sempre molto presente se avete bisogno ma non invadente. Potete arrivare al Taj Mahal a piedi in poco più di 20 minuti. Peccato per la strada per arrivare dall'ostello al Taj Mahal che è veramente sporca, ma non è colpa dei proprietari che, invece, tengono la struttura in ottime condizioni. Insomma se venite ad Agra lo consiglio vivamente!

I had a wonderful stay at Sair hostel! It's a very new hostel, so don't let the small number of reviews scare you off. It's a small hostel, which is good, a warmer atmosphere, you can meet other people. And the staff is amazing and they're trying to create a friendly social atmosphere, more like a community thing, where you do things together. The hostel itself is nice, freshly renovated, very clean and tidy, the dorms have everything you need. And the location is great, near Assi ghat! Plus there's a very cute rooftop area, where you can chill or hang out with others. Would recommend this hostel to anyone, especially solo travellers! :)

Found it to be comfortable; adequate kitchen with electric kettle, gas stove, microwave and recent refrigerator acquisition; also professional water filtration system. Staff very helpful. Facility also very clean room in dorm rooms and common areas.
