L’auberge de jeunesse Berunes HI Hostel vous accueille dans une ferme de Berunes, à proximité de la rocade et à 45 km du village de Djúpivogur. Logement dans un cabanon avec sdb et petit coin repas. C'est pas très grand mais cosy et confortable. Lits confortables et très calme. L'environnement est très beau et on peut se promener dans les alentours. Nous avons mangé au restaurant. Un de nos meilleurs repas en Islande. On recommande. Accueil très sympathique.

We were surprised that the hostel was so clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable. At the entrance you have to take your shoes off, so you'll get a homey feeling. The hostel has a small Sauna you can use for free, which we enjoyed very much. The whole hostel operates on a "think Green" spirit, which was very cool. It has a great sharing concept for all the public rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and the decoration showed love for details. The room was small but cozy and the bed was comfortable. Check Out is at 10am but you can use the public facilities even after that. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

L’établissement Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building se trouve à Seyðisfjörður, à 4,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gufu Waterfall. Il propose un salon commun, un barbecue et un parking privé gratuit. This isn’t something I usually notice but the hostel was very well structured. The layout was very convenient and comfortable (showers were separated nicely with lots of space, lots of space for luggage in the rooms and under the bed, head space on top bunks etc) and there were outlets and usb ports in each bunk. The entire building had such a comfortable, welcoming vibe, not to mention it was very aesthetic and had an incredible view of the mountains and ocean. Nicely designed with a funky color palette and lots of decor. It was a 14 minute walk to the town centre but it had guides, maps, board games, and books all in the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had all the utilities organized and sanitized nicely. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and even helped me set up a ride to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer!
