A wonderful host who does everything possible to make us feel at home. It was so nice to arrive in the country and be able to find a place that I felt so comfortable in and someone who helped me organize my trip around the rest of the country. He helped me book the diving in Aqaba, did the tour around the city, help to get a taxi from the airport, the the tour to Wadi Rum and even gave me recommendations on where to go in Jordan. 10/10

Great values! Free drinking water, tea and cofee Sam (the owner) is a true God-send. He has made my trip to Jordan a wonderful one. He is kind, caring, and can speak English, Spanish, and Arabic perfectly.

Actually it was really amazing the staff the hosts the place location everything was perfect, as this is my first experience in a hostel it was fantastic, meeting new people speak with them and knowing there culture was really nice as I will repeat this experience once again and in the same hostel for sure.

Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The setup is simple but smart, which made our stay very comfortable. The owner is kind and helpful without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. Compared to other options in the area, Oryx Hostel offers great value and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I recommend this Hostel because it has very good staff and the whole place is very clean with a standard of quality that is not present in most Hostels. It is right on the Sea with a promenade of Restaurants you can eat at.
