The owner’s warm and welcoming personality adds to the charm of this stay. They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe. That was the best hostel I've been to in Japan! The owner (who is SO NICE) was/ is a traveler too and you see that! Everything is well organized and has everything you need as a backpacker. the rooms are big and so comfortable. The kitchen/ lobby was amazing and the food/ coffee in the Café was delicious. I would definitely come back and never stay somewhere else.

This hostel is now one of my favorites that I’ve tried in Japan. The facilities are very clean, beautiful, and modern. The decoration is carefully chosen, and the bed is extremely comfortable; even the bath towels smell wonderfully fresh. It’s also extremely rare to find showers so well equipped, with both quality hygiene products and a real walk-in shower. It was my first time seeing this in Japan, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the hostel manager is very welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this hostel ,you can really feel the effort and attention put into making every stay as comfortable as possible. If I have time at the end of my trip, I’ll definitely come back! Thank you again.

Great rooms and amazing location. Very friendly staff too! They’re super kind. Definitely the perfect place to stay in Nagoya if you want to be near shopping centres and restaurants! Very close to train station too.

There is a simple homy energy at Usatsuno Osu and that felt great! The dorm room I slept in was very comfortably equipped and it was very spacious. The bed was very comfy, the temp was very well conditioned (not too cold, not hot). The owners, Yumiko & Kiyu are great hosts, engaging in conversation and being friendly. they let me check in early (as it was possible at the time) and after checkout they let me leave my bags at the guesthouse for the duration of the day, allowing me to see more of Nagoya with ease! Locationwise, 15min walk to Nagoya station,10min walk to Osu neighbourhood and the shoping district, were you will find alot to see & do & eat! You will get a towl, fresh beddings, there are lockers, the Wifi was awesome, showers were clean with no issues. Had a lovely time, will gladly return! Thank you Kiyu and Yumiko 🧡✨👋🏻🙏🏼💯

No shoes are allowed inside, and the hostel is very clean. The mixed dorm room beds have lots of extra room beside the mattress which was much appreciated and very convenient. It feels like an old house inside, with beautiful hardwood floors. Fantastic common area with comfy seating and a well equipped kitchen. I met a few people here, and I was only here for 3 nights in August, so I think this is perfect for solo travellers in Nagoya. The bar below the hostel (ran by the owner of the who is very kind and speaks English) opens after 8pm, seems like a local hangout. I highly recommend yoruyonaka guesthouse to anyone staying in Nagoya. This has been my favourite hostel to stay in Japan!
