The Old Town are a 10-minute walk away, while the venue of Miyagawa Morning Market is a 7-minute walk away. Great location. Full kitchen, nice staff. Dorm bunk beds are comfortable. Facilities are very clean.

The staff was so welcoming and hospitable that I just wished I could stay there for longer. The kitchen, shower room and other common areas are maintained well. The staff helped us whenever we needed and even provided shuttle service to Takayama Station at odd time since it was raining. I wished I could give this place 100 stars. ❤️

This place is not made for tourists and if you prefer 5star hotels this place is not for you, but if you want to learn more about Japanese onsen culture it is perfect. You can use multiple baths and sauna as well as cold pool for 900 yen in the evening and in the morning before check out and enjoy nice food right after taking a good bath. Your company is gonna be some Japanese uncles and aunties, but they are great. It’s a simple place with a great soul!
