Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee.

Private rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a washbasin. A semi-double size bunk (120cm wide) in the dormitory rooms comes with a luggage space and a security locker. The staff was great, they helped us deliver the phone my father forgot in the bullet train to the hostel, which at the Lost and Found office told us is going to be very difficult for an accomodation to do. The place is very clean, showers are separated in sort of mini rooms so there is a lot of privacy. There are dyson hair dryers which was unexpected for a 2 star hostel. The beds were comfortable as well. Location is walking distance from the main station and was very practical.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. Every room is equipped with a safety deposit box and selected rooms have city views. All units in 城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. Great spot that was clean and as expected. If you want to use the Sauna, make sure to sign up the day before or in the morning for the evening. If no one signs up, they don’t turn it on and it take a while to heat up.

The host is also kind and explanative. She gave me explanation how to go where and we had a fun conversation
