Hostel Cuore Kurashiki ligt in de historische wijk Bikan in Kurashiki. Het bevindt zich op slechts 10 minuten lopen van JR-station Kurashiki. Room was nice. Had heated beds with a controller to adjust the temperature. There was a desk and sink in the room. Shower room was fully stocked and clean. The center of the hostel to walk from the room to the shower room is exposed to the outdoors so very cold if winter but it's not so far so it's fine. Good restaurant downstairs and useful laundry room.

DENIM HOSTEL float ligt in Kurashiki, op 16 km van Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park, en biedt een restaurant, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi en een bar. The greatest stay of my trip this time. Great view, privacy, nice breakfast, close to bus station, really great experience in everything.

Machicado ligt in Tamano en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een bar, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Cozy place in a good location near the port. We stayed as a base to see Naoshima and Teshima. Staff was helpful and everything was clean and comfortable.

Het Hibari House Guest house ligt op 10 minuten rijden van het station van Okayama. Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge is slechts 500 meter verwijderd van het JR Okayama Station, uitgang West, en het beschikt over een café met een live podium voor DJ's en andere artiesten. Great vibe and decor In Bar area. Lovely staff. Super good. Very clean tatami mat room- huge and a lot of light . We stayed in largest room. Easily slept 4

Kikusui Ryokan ligt in Tamano, op 24 km van Sogenji Temple, en is voorzien van kamers met airconditioning en een tuin. The room was exactly as pictured. The beds were very comfortable. The bath was excellent and very very hot. New towels every day and a bargain tumble dryer.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae is gelegen in Maniwa, op 22 km van Shoka Museum Ikegamitei en 23 km van Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele... Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
