I've never before felt such peace and warmth in a hostel. This place is special. The owner is an amazing person: very helpful and attentive, and he gives good tips about places to see in the area. He even gave me advice regarding my future travel plans! Everything in the hostel was clean and well maintained. The dorm room bed was very comfortable, the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hostel. Some credit for that good sleep must be given to the general feeling of safety: all solo female travelers out there, I highly recommend this place! One of the best things for me was the view to the garden and to Mt. Fuji, visible from the common room window. If you need to take a break from busy travel schedules, or need a breather after exhausting yourself in Tokyo, take a vacation from your vacation and check out this hostel. Slow down a bit. Sit by the window, drink a cup of tea and take in the view.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Perfect place, perfect friendly atmosphere, wonderful view of Fuji❤️

Hostel & Salon Saruya asub Shimoyoshida jaamast 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Külalisi ootavad renoveeritud 80-aastased Jaapani stiilis majutusruumid, kus on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Overall the property was amazing. Very cozy. Very clean. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was also extremely lovely and gave us recommendations. Highly recommend the breakfast in their cafe it was the perfect way to start our day.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. Available and helpful team. The free bikes are a massive plus. Everything was working perfectly and very clean. Some friends are coming in the area soon, I'll definitely tell them to come here. Thanks again!

The host is really nice and helpful, fluent in English. There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

We loved our stay at Fujiyoshida Hotel. The owner was very sweet and kind, she welcomed us with a warm smile, and kindly let us park the car at the car park. The traditional Japanese room was very clean and lovely, and the place was quiet. The room had a view of the majestic Fuji-san, which allowed us to quickly know whether it was visible or covered before leaving the hotel. We simply loved the experience, I highly recommend it!

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. the room was spacious, we were pleasantly surprised. they even saved us with their food menu, when no restaurants in 1km diameter was open in the evening.
