As for the accomodation itself, it was just everything we could ask for. Room was small but thanks to the space under the bed we fit with 6 suitcases very comfortably. The kitchen had everything too, ramen, tea, water and coffee for free. Everything was clean and the staff was always incredibly helpful and welcoming. One staff member even offered me and my friend her umbrella when it was raining, she was the sweetest. Highly recommend!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind, they wouldn’t even let me carry my own bag up the stairs. The location is perfect, just a one minute walk from the subway station, with plenty of lively nightlife around the hotel. Despite that, the rooms are well insulated, so it’s quiet inside. The rooms were clean, equipped with good air conditioning, and the shampoo and body wash smelled great. We also appreciated the free ramyeon as well as the complimentary washing machine and dryer. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back again

Without me even asking, the owner took it upon himself to help—calling all the police stations and subway lost-and-found offices, continuously checking the lost-and-found website, and keeping me updated throughout my stay. His kindness and dedication turned what could have been a stressful situation into a reminder of the generosity that still exists in the world. Beyond that, he actively creates a warm and social atmosphere, ensuring that guests connect with each other, which is truly the essence of a great hostel experience. Sharing stories and travel experiences with fellow guests made my stay even more special. The location is also fantastic—right next to a subway station, making it easy to explore the entire city. Plus, a direct bus to and from the airport makes travel even more convenient. As for the facilities, everything was spot-on: cozy and comfortable rooms, spotless bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. What really stood out was the availability of a washing machine and dryer—completely free of charge! Small details like this show how much care has been put into making guests feel at home. If you’re looking for a hostel that truly embodies hospitality and generosity, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

I dont know why they call themselves Hostel, this is a proper Hotel, with daily room service, free water bottle refills, plus the added kitchen and washing/ drying machine. Plus the kindest reception staff! Cannot recommend enough!

I enjoyed living at Bestel Residence during my stay! It was quiet, safe, clean, warm, comfortable and had everything I needed. The host is a very friendly and caring lady, she was always keen to help and it was nice to chit-chat from time to time in the kitchen or hallway. The shared kitchen has cutlery and dishes and appliances that you need to cook or prepare meals. You can store food in your own fridge in the room and take to the kitchen as needed. The location is great, just a 7 minute walk to Nambu Bus Terminal (line 3) subway station, which can get you pretty much anywhere and you can transfer to line 2 at National University of Education which is one stop away. There are also several buses running near the building that connect you to various parts of the city. Plenty of shops nearby including a convenience store down the street, in addition to a Lotte Supermarket and a GS The Fresh around 5-8 minute walk.
