Really beautiful hostel and super clean! It’s tucked away from the town but nice to be in a quiet and peaceful spot, and is an easy tuk tuk ride to Unawatuna and Galle. The owner is super lovely and happy to help out!

The hosts were the best! Absolutely gorgeous and engaging Judith, and soft & sweet Isuru. Don't forget their kids :) Also, the fellow travellers there. They were all repeat customers - and for good reason.

Tanty’s Hostel se nachází na ideálním místě v centru města Galle a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu. Pokud přijedete autem, budete mít k dispozici neplacené soukromé parkoviště. A great hostel, large rooms, cozy, lots of greenery and communal spaces, although not many people were there during my stay. Huge kitchen and dining area, washing machine, even tea and coffee (tea was really nice). Each dorm bed had an individual fan which was enough to keep cool, and showers had hot water. Only a short (10 min) bus ride to Galle Fort and the bus stop is very close. During my day trip to Galle Fort there was a huge thunderstorm and when I returned to the hostel, I found my laundry that had been drying outside brought in from the rain by the staff, so kind! There was also a donation/trade box for clothes people no longer wanted, which I found a very cool idea as thrift stores don't seem to be popular in Sri Lanka, and there's often need to make space in your backpack.

Good vibes, good people, beautiful hidden treasure with very clean and cozy facilities. Could easily get stuck here for weeks. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great vibes, great people, and an unforgettable beachfront stay!

A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.

The dorm rooms are probably the nicest dorm rooms I have ever stayed in. The staff are great people and extremely helpful. Whatever your issue they will help you to ensure you have a great time in Sri Lanka.

The host is very friendly and the location is good. I walked to the Unawatuna main road within 10-15 min. The beach is also situated within walkable distance. Room is clean and nice. Shared bathrooms are clean.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Farming Hostel. We felt like at home! Our hosts were so welcoming, taking care of us during our whole stay. The meals were also wonderful, very tasty. The accomodation has an excellent location, it is very close to the beautiful Secret Beach!
