Initially, we booked a room for two with private bathroom in a hostel, but on arrival the hotel staff offered us to stay in a much more upmarket apartment, the Pearl, as it was available for our dates. Thank you very much, it was a great experience. Instead of the small dark room with a view of the wall that we had originally booked, we got a whole luxury apartment in the center of the city. For anyone traveling to Kotor, I recommend not being greedy and booking Pearl right away if you want to stay in comfort and privacy. The only thing is, since the apartment is located right in the center of the old town with narrow streets, it is dark enough inside even during the day and cool enough (we stayed in October). This is not a flaw, just a detail.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 700 metres from Kotor Beach. The manager and the staff are so kind and helpful. The room of 8 is very spacious, and you have your privacy even though it’s a dorm bed. Wonderful big comfortable kitchen and a very nice cozy living room. Great location - in the middle of the old city, and still very quiet inside the hostel. Wonderful experience!

Gave lots of info on the area; beaches to go to and beaches to avoid etc. The hostel have a WhatsApp group to keep people informed of daily activities (sunset boat trips etc). Very good idea.

The owner was very nice, and spoke english well !

Close to the beach but away from the beach bar noise. Close to the old town. I loved it!
