I had a great time at Sunset Surf Camp. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the rooms and common area/kitchen are clean and well organized. On top - there are 2 pools, sunbeds and hammocks in the beautiful garden :-) Also surfing was great!

This place was amazing, one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. It was so well done, with beautiful views, and a structure to match. Everything was so well thought out and tastefully done to create such a great vibe and energy—a testament to the owner(s), who put genuine love and care into all aspects of this wonderful place! Even the whimsical touches of a kid goat and bathroom art were note-perfect! They even put on a delicious communal meal followed by a great merengue class, with some really cool people in attendance. If I didn’t love riding bikes to new places so much it’s the kind of place I would’ve been happy to end my vacation in.

Leisy's Garden Hostel & Rooms offre un centro fitness, un giardino, un ristorante e un bar a Santa Bárbara de Samaná. Literally couldn’t be better, hostel room was super cozy with complete privacy inside your bunk, and the public spaces were beautiful and really well kept. The photos don’t even do it justice, since they were taken all the surrounding plants and garden has grown into a lush jungle around the main building. One of the owners, Austin, was an absolute pleasure to speak with as are all of the rest of the staff and guests, truly a hub for brilliant people in one of the most untouched an beautiful places I have ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to El Valle !!

We stayed here as a compromise between my desire to stay somewhere off the beaten path, and my partners desire to spend time in Negril. It was a short drive to Negril and I really felt like I got to see a different side of Jamaica.
