It is new and I got a pretty spacious room at a very good price. The owner who I chatted with and the manager were friendly. Though we shared bathrooms there were five of them on the floor, so it is OK. The location is also very good; the hotel is near Chew Getty and Komtar Bus Terminal.

Sogor Female Dormitory is honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! I feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay here for 3 nights—it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Even though I came as a solo backpacker, I never felt alone. I ended up meeting two amazing foreigners during my stay, and we connected instantly. The environment is clean, hygienic, and very well maintained. The washrooms are spotless, the laundry area is convenient, and the public space is super comfortable—perfect for relaxing or chatting with other travelers. This hostel gave me not only a safe and comfy place to stay, but also meaningful memories and new friendships. I highly recommend it to any solo female traveler out there. I’d easily rate it 10/10!

The common area is so beautiful and inviting. The owner is very friendly and tries everything to make you feel comfortable. Because my bus was delayed, I arrived after check-in time, but it wasn't a problem. The accommodation is located in a quiet street, but still close to everything like restaurants etc. They provide water and tea, and the kitchen is well equipped in case you want to cook... I shared a room with one other girl, and we had plenty of space for our stuff. The AC is running well!

Amore Stay se nachází v destinaci George Town. Penang Botanic Gardens je 7,9 km daleko a Penang Hill 10 km. Rainbow Skywalk Komtar se nachází 1,2 km od ubytování. Absolutely everything! The place was new, clean, lovely finishings and great lighting. The air conditioning worked well. They offered free coffee and snacks every day for guests. They allowed early check in when our room was ready and all the staff were so lovely. We actually moved from a previous accomodation that was terrible and we were so happy when we arrived to Amore Stay. Fantastic location, wonderful owners. Would definitely stay again!

The facilities are simple. It was super clean and so far best accommodation I had in Malaysia on a low budget. The owners were also super nice. When we had an issue they quickly responded, helped and accommodated us. The owner also stepped by to check up on us and gave us a great list of recommendations for Penang.

Aayu Chulia - Chulia St, George Town se nachází v destinaci George Town. Pláž Northam Beach je 2,1 km daleko a Penang Times Square 1,8 km. This accomodation is a very good value for money. The location is perfect, all the hot spots are close by and can be reached by foot. There is also a shared living/dining area and a kitchen. Since we spent our days exploring George Town and Penang, we didn't use it. The hosts were very helpful and shared some tips regarding restaurants and places worth visiting.

Aayu Seckchuan - 3 mins walk to Love Lane se nachází v destinaci George Town a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a sdílenou koupelnou. The hostel staff was very welcoming and kind. They also prepared an itinerary for us, which was really nice! There is free water, coffee… The rooms are clean and have everything they need. The bathroom facilities were also clean. We lost something there and the staff was so kind and sent it to us all the way to Kuala Lumpur - all in all, very good price-performance ratio, nice staff and cozy environment.

The Terraces by Aayu - 2 mins walk to Chulia Street se nachází v destinaci George Town. Pláž Northam Beach se nachází 2,2 km daleko a Penang Times Square 1,7 km. This property was very accommodating to us. I booked and stayed for 14 days. The staff were very friendly they made sure that all our requests were their top priority (examples include asking for fresh sheets, letting us use a table and chair in our room for work purposes). The internet here is fantastic and perfect for digital nomads visiting the town. The location couldn’t be more central and your value for money is amazing. The beds are very comfortable and the private rooms are very spacious. The self-check in is very easy to follow and there are always staff around to assist you when you need help or you can send them a quick message and they will be right with you. Aayu also have different hostels nearby this property. We have stayed at another the previous week and felt the same about both. Excellent choice. 10/10 💛
