Location well connected, walkable, and with good public transportation.

Flor from the staff was fantastic—she helped us with an early check-in and explained everything we needed to know about the area. Highly recommend! Also buy the red card for transportation it allow you to go to Zaanse Schans, and another villages.

Located 10 minutes by metro from the city center, Via Amsterdam is a design-led hybrid hostel and hotel with street art and urban design featured throughout the building.The property situated in the Bijlmermeer district, offers free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. The hostel itself is very cool. It feels very lively from the moment you get it, and it has the Amsterdam vibe to it. The staff was very friendly and their English was spotless. The room was very quiet and we could rest without any issue. It was 8 of us who were supposed to travel, but one person did not make it in the end and the staff did not charge for their tourist fare, which I thanked a lot. All of us received a key to the room without an extra charge. We used a three-day public transportation pass, so the hostel being relatively far away from the city center did not oppose any problems (it takes around 20 or 30 minutes to reach the Central Station if I am not wrong). There is one supermarket and some restaurants nearby, and the place is located in a safe, residential area. We would stay again without any doubt.
