Built in 1888, The Prince Albert Backpackers & Bar is a heritage building with free Wi-Fi, an onsite bar and restaurant and a cafe on weekdays Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson.... Very good location and nice facilities!

Really cool old Victorian house, with lots of character. Staff were nice and helpful, location was convenient, everything was clean and comfortable.

The lady caretaker/manager who looks after the place all day every day was so helpful and kind! She helped me and my partner when we had an issue with our booking (our fault) and made sure we were comfortable and couldnt have done more to help us!!! We stayed here before we went to the Abel Tasman over new year.
