These were the most comfortable hostel beds I've ever experienced. We felt safe and comfortable, the atmosphere was fun and active but everyone respected the quiet hours and we were able to get a good night's sleep. It's also right next to the InterCity bus stop so the location couldn't be better. We would stay again!

The Flaming Kiwi Backpackers is located in Queenstown. Free WiFi access is available and you can enjoy mountain views from the rooms. The Flaming Kiwi is a great place to meet amazing people and, above all, to relax. You can do both here! The first time I stayed was in 2016, and I’ve been coming back ever since. The hostel has everything you need, and the staff is absolutely fantastic, shoutout to Kent and Emilia! If you’re going to Queenstown, please don’t stay anywhere else. I’ve stayed in other hostels, but this one gives you the full combo of goodness! I can’t wait to come back!

Sir Cedrics Southern Laughter Backpackers is located centrally in Queenstown, 500 metres from the city centre. It offers a garden, and a guest lounge with flat-screen satellite TV. The general "atmosphere" was very friendly. I had several conversations with young fellow-travellers, some of whom were two generations younger than me. People were ready to help with a splash of oil for cooking or a bit of butter for my toast.

Nomad's Backpackers boasts one of the best locations in Queenstown, located in the heart of the town center, a 100 metres from the stunning Lake Whakatipu. Amazing big kitchen, nice rooms, very nice staff
