Very modern design, compact yet well-structured with excellent facilities. Common area/kitchen is super clean and neat. Loved the complimentary vegetable soup and popcorn! The reception, Tuck, was so friendly and cheerful.

Such a homey vibe and lovely opportunity to sit around in the very comfortable dining/sitting room and meet other travellers. Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Free unlimited WiFi and private parking. We loved the feeling of being in the middle of the forest on our balcony. The hosts are so lovely and helpful! This is a unique property that provided us with a totally different experience from motels, and apartments. We were definitely surrounded by nature.

Loved the experience! The owners are very kind and helpful, they explained everything and the place had everything I needed. WiFi was good as well, which was a plus considering how remote the place is.
