It is a quiet location, there's good WiFi, AC, hot showers, free coffee. A nice affordable Filipino restaurant on the street corner, close to the hostel. I extended my stay.

We ended up there because of a cancelled flight and were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice, friendly and chilled place which only added to our adventure. Maraming salamat!

WiFi is free throughout the property, and guests can have daily continental breakfast available every morning. It was clean, I had my own bedroom so my own shower and I could also manage my own AC which for me makes a big difference! The bed was comfy and I had hot water in the shower. Breakfast was good and you had choice! You also have access to drinkable water. Staff was very nice and helpful! Loved my stay here!

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a balcony. At Frida Ka each room includes air conditioning and a shared bathroom. My stay at Frida Ka was very nice. The hostel is located right along the main pathway to the beach, though I didn’t spend much time there. More importantly, it’s in the heart of the main strip, making it super easy to walk to all the nearby restaurants and shops. Although it’s a hostel, it’s not a social one, which made for a quiet and relaxing stay. I stayed in a mixed dorm and had no issues with the other occupants. The breakfast was great—not included, but reasonably priced for the area. The staff was friendly and always remembered me whenever I passed by, which added a nice personal touch. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

The staff was always cleaning, like always. They were also helpful and always around and super nice. The social areas were clean and well kept as well, including the bathrooms. Wasn’t too loud and just far enough away from downtown that It didn’t feel too crowded with people. It may be more of a party scene at other times of the year but wasn’t for my stay but we still drank and hung out with everyone. I’m in my 30s and had a lot of people here closer to my age and younger so it was a good mix.
