This place is so amazing! Even though it's on the other side of the island, so more away from all the touristy places, I loved this place. The host was amazing, welcoming me very late in the evening. I had my own room and the view from the terrace was stunning (ocean, vawes, nature). I liked how calm and quiet it was there, and because I had a car, it was no problem to travel all around the island from the hostel. It wad clean, and interior was really cool too!

I loved my stay here - the location is perfect, check-in was seamless with warm and helpful service. The space is spotless and spacious, with a cozy balcony for evenings, a relaxing salon downstairs, and a tidy kitchen and bathroom. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming.

Located in Funchal and with Almirante Reis Beach reachable within 200 metres, Santa Maria Hostel provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a... The hostel is in a beautiful old building that is extremely well-maintained in the heart of the old town. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Fabulous kitchen. Both receptionists we met are very efficient, friendly and helpful and we’d like to give them our thanks for making our stay a pleasant experience. In order to have twin beds we chose to forego a private bathroom, but the communal facilities were so great it was not an inconvenience. Plenty powerful hot showers. The location is perfect with many attractions within walking distance.

I spent a week here that I'll never forget. The staff is so friendly and warm. Facilities very good, and I dont feel like it missed anything. Also I was especially lucky with the group of people staying at the hostel. Safe to say this is a place to gain good memories, if youre not in a hurry. Solid 12/10 from me!

Aia, baari ja merevaatega Jaca Hostel Funchal asub Funchalis, 800 meetri kaugusel Almirante Reisi rannast. The hostel is great! Amazing staff, trust and non problematic atmosphere. The smoothest check in. I met there fanatic people, that straight away became my family. I got a single bed in mixed dorm that was super comfy and i have enough privacy.

The Rum Inn asub Calhetas, Calheta rannast 200 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar, mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud toad ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The bedroom had a lot of space and a bathroom included. It was clean. The hostel was close to a supermarket, a car rental place, a gas station and the beach.
