We had the apartament we were hoping for - with the balcony view on the sea. We had everything we needed, breakfasts were really decent (basic but more than enough, every day slightly different but always fresh) and the place was dog friendly. Slovenia in general and Portorož in particular were an unexpectedly nice surprise for us, so we hope to come back.

It felt safe and comfortable. You cannot beat the price! My daughter and I shared a room that had 4 bunk beds (8 beds) and a balcony. The bathroom across the hall was shared with 2 other rooms but could lock for privacy. The staff was friendly and all the guests were quiet and friendly. This was a great experience for us and I will definitely stay here again.

The room is nice for two people, a little too warm, but the AC works perfectly. Even sharing the bathroom, it was always clean. The staff were very friendly.

The owner is very friendly, made the checking process a breeze. Allowed us to keep the bikes inside the hotel to make sure they are safe. Excellent breakfast in the morning. The lady who makes the breakfast is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is hundred times better than at the most hotels in USA. Definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

Hostel Sveta Ana is located in Koper and features a garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, while private parking is available at a surcharge. Very nice location, old monastery. Room was very clean and had good mattresses & a nice new shower. Very friendly staff & nice breakfast. Parking available. No lift.
