Danubius is one of the few places in Komarno for a decent prices, where you can check-in any time. I could pick up the key from a locker late when I arrived. The room is in a university dormitory, spacious rooms, clean sheets, clean toilet and separate bathroom. My room was on the 3rd floor, and the only noise I could hear were the birds early in the morning. Very central location. There is a nice self-service breakfast bar just around the corner, where you can have your morning beer :) Great value for this price.

The hostel is distinguished by its incredibly friendly and welcoming staff – especially the lovely lady at the reception, who takes wonderful care of the guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are also maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. A big plus is the fully equipped kitchen available to guests – perfect if you want to cook something yourself. The atmosphere throughout the hostel is warm and homely, and I felt genuinely welcome and relaxed. Another huge advantage: dogs are welcome! I stayed with my dogs and everything went smoothly – it’s a very pet-friendly place, which I truly appreciate. This is a place with a soul and amazing hospitality – I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly stay in Nitra!
