I highly recommend to stay here!! The first thing I noticed about this hostel was that the owner makes everything clean and organized. In the kitchen, there are basic utensils, electronic pot, microwave, drinking water and fridge. The bed in dorm room is fairly big for one person and comfortable. There are a power socket, personal light for each bed and you can use a locker too. The location was great. 10 minutes walking to the beach, 3 minutes walking to 7-11, a lot of local restaurants, a local market, beverage shops and fruits shops. 10 minutes to massage shop by foot. I could go to the main pub area in 20 minutes by foot as well. But the best thing is that even it is close to all things I need, the hostel area is not noisy. I only can hear the noise from the cars or scooters at night even I used the bed just right in front of the balcony door. As a female solo traveler, I feel it is a quite safe area to walk around at night. People mingle in the living room at night. We talked about our travel stories and shared the recommendations. I have met good travel buddies and we went to the bars a few times. I have to mention the owner of this hostel, Tharita. She is a local and takes care of the guests so well. We shared our personal stories, cooked together and she showed me around the area, recommended the spots and helped me to organize to go to the pier/tour. She is a very nice, lovely and funny lady. She speaks very good English and she is more than happy to let you know what is a real Thai experience. All guests like her and she also likes the influence from other cultures and wants to learn from them. She made my day many times. I'd like to come back this hostel to see her and talk more about our stories. I will miss DK1. P.S: don't be skeptical about the rating. 9.6 out of 10 is real. If you stay at DK1, you will know why this hostel marks so high score. Tharita works really hard to make this hostel nice and feel like home.

They were so friendly and wanted to bring my creditcard when I forgot it. Really nice that you have a fridge and kitchen, i'm not used to that. Great that you can kayak and pool + view is amazing.

Ananas Samui Hostel se nachází v destinaci Laem Set a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Moonlight s partnerem jsou moc milí a nápomocní. Pokoj pro me měli připravený drive, než byl oficiální check-in. Jakmile jsem zmínila, že jsem nervózní z řízení auta vlevo, tak se Moonlight nabídla, že se se mnou projede a řekne, kdybych mohla něco zlepšit. Dostala jsem pár užitečných tipů jak ohledně auta, tak co vidět v okolí. Celkově jsem si pobyt užila, je tam klid. Zaroven je nutné zmínit, že se vám na pokoji mohou objevit ještěrky, jelikož je ubytovani uprostřed zeleně. 😊

TRIBE by Aforetime se nachází v destinaci Nathon Bay a nabízí ubytování se soukromými balkony. A home away from home. Kind and caring people from the guests to the locals to the amazing staff. The owner is Superman! Peaceful, relaxing, one of the cleanest hostels I’ve been in. Respectful! 100/200m away from the beach, local smoothie lady is a must. Breakfast served around 6/7am from a local roadside restaurant. 7-Eleven is 5 mins by bike.

Also a nice kitchen and a chill common area, just felt like a little second home especially when staying longer :)

Escape Beachfront Cottage, Lamai Beach se nachází v destinaci Nathon Bay a nabízí ubytování u pláže a zahradu. Jen 1,4 km odtud je Pláž Lamai Beach. My stay at Cottage in Lamai Beach was amazing. The room had a beautiful sea view, comfortable bed, and all the basic amenities I needed. The place is right by the beach and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were kind and always ready to help with anything. Great value for money and perfect for anyone looking for beachfront getaway. Highly recommended!
