De kamers en het sanitair waren erg proper. Daarnaast was de locatie ook geweldig! Recht in de old town, wanneer je buitenstapt zit je meteen in een sfeervolle regio. Ook was het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Ik boekte een food tour bij hen met Minh die echt geweldig was!! Ik zou hem zo opnieuw boeken!

I couldn't recommend this place more highly, it's a wonderful place to stay in Hanoi, and I would absolutely stay here again should I return to the city in future. Communication was great both before and after arrival. The owners work really hard to make this a great place to stay, and it seems they've thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Each day you are given two bottles of water, which is super useful, especially when you get back and curse yourself that you forgot to pick any up, and there they are waiting for you outside your door. There are sweet small details like cotton buds and tissues. A choice of air conditioning or fan. And a bug zapper in the room, which is great if mosquitoes like to feast on you as much as they do me! The bed was very comfortable, and everywhere spotlessly clean. As other reviews mention, they literally clean the shared bathroom immediately after it has been used! One evening I came back so tired I hadn't managed to feed myself, and they even gave me a few snacks to see me through until the morning. Although they are working long hours, they are always incredibly friendly and smiley. It's so nice to see them when you leave for your day or return. The location is great - walking distance to all the main tourist areas of Hanoi, in a bustling local area just north of the Old Quarter. Although busy outside on the street, the fact it is down a little alleyway means that it is very peaceful and you hear nothing from outside. Because it is a (lovely) older building, you may hear some noises from other guests moving around inside the building, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and easily disturbed. This is just the nature of such a property; the family themselves are remarkably considerate and quiet!

Little Diamond Hotel 2 ligt in de oude wijk tegenover het Hoan Kiem-meer en biedt kamers met airconditioning en gratis WiFi. Het hotel heeft ook een restaurant. Located in the old quarter near the lake, it was a very easy walk up to restaurants and markets in the centre. The hotel is quaint and has a sense of history about it with its decor and fittings. From the time we arrived until we left everything was perfect and the staff could not been more obliging. We could make bookings for trips and could seek advice on places of interests or restaurants in the area. We could join in with the many exercise class around the lake each morning from about 5.30. I would like to thank Ms Jenny, Thuy, Len Tuan and Dung for making our Hà Nội experience even better. If we ever have the opportunity we will return to the little Hanoi hotel again.
