The staff were very friendly and helped me plan my short hike to Gerickes Point. I really enjoyed the beach right next to the property and felt very comfortable there. There is also a small supermarket and a restaurant nearby, so you have everything you need. I’m happy to recommend this accommodation.

Confinante con il Parco Nazionale di Wildeness, il Fairy Knowe Backpackers dispone di un giardino attrezzato con barbecue. In loco troverete un bar e una cucina in comune. Every year I visit Fairy Knowe it improves. The staff are always extremely helpful and the vibe is great! You can do all sorts of activities, and there is live music at the bar on the weekends (week days too in season) All round great experience. They always go above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Highly recommend this lodge and Backbackers! The rooms are super cosy if you feel like being more private! The bathrooms are super clean. The location is great with INCREDIBLE food options in the town! Thank you for the incredible experience. I’ll be back in December.

We booked 2 rooms and a tent. Tent feels like you sleep under the sky, because windows are always open. Keep it in mind if you book in cold weather (but they have a heater). Tent is very modern, bed is perfect, shower is good. Everything is very clean. You can use for free swimming pool and tubes with hot wither to relax after hiking day. Hotel offers tubing experience, but we did not try. Price was about 800 R per person.
